My site will have a significant video portion, but will also have a section where users can play custom made video games on the site, as well as pages that are static text/image. I would need to wait until you have the ability to use an external URL on the cloud. Do I need to host this on my own server in order to facilitate all of this, or possible to use the cloud?
With a cloud hosted site, possible to do other things with site?

One idea would be to host the Mediacore video portion on a subdomain of my site. Will it be possible to set up Mediacore in the cloud on a subdomain of my site?

Hey Josh,
You'll be able to add your own custom domain (ex. video.yoursite.com) or yoursite.com within the next few weeks.
We will be considering adding the ability to add static images/text, but don't have a timeline right now on when this will be added as we're really focussing on video right now.
