We've been getting quite a few questions about the technology behind this website. In short we are using:
- MediaCore of course is being used to power our demo
- TurboGears for the core of the site. This covers most static pages.
- Sphinx for the docs in combination with Disqus for comments.
- WordPress for the blog
- BBPress for the community
- MooTools for a lot of the JavaScript stuff.
- 960 grid system for all the grids and layouts.
The majority of the design work was done in Photoshop and then hand-coded using VIM or Coda (depending on who was working on it).
