Hi,
I would like to know how do you set user restrictions?
Can a specific group be set for when users register or create an account? e.g. Regular / Preferred
Can i restrict them from uploading videos and just give them access to view videos in which I've/admin uploaded?
There's currently no group management set up for users. The only type of logged-in user MediaCore supports (as of 0.8.2) is the admin group.
We're currently looking for partners who would be willing to sponsor adding more types of user accounts. It's a large enough task that we can't dedicate the time to it for free right now.
