Uploading videos without encoding

Hi,
I am interested in using your video product internally in my company. I'm wondering if it is possible to use it to host videos internally without requiring encoding externally.

Also, a more important question, if I encode all my own movies will that 'skip' the internal encoding process? I encoded a sample format of:

H.264 (video) 220 Kbits/sec
AAC (audio) 32 KHz Stereo bit rate 80 kbps
set for fast start internet streaming
etc. etc...

Is there a list anywhere of encoded formats supported by MediaCore natively?

Yes, sure. Actually what you describe is very easy as MediaCore (without a plugin) does not handle the encoding process. A video will be marked as encoded as soon a suitable file (by file extension) was uploaded by the user.

As for the supported formats I think it is only in the source (https://github.com/mediacore/mediacore/blob/master/mediacore/lib/filetypes.py#L54). Basically it should be all formats supported by flash or HTML5. Though as MediaCore does not touch the contents it can pretty much handle anything.
