is anyone working on a transcoding script. I am testing some bash shell scripts but i dont know if mediacore wont like it. My server is completely disconnected from the net so i cant use panda plugin.
Im also going to try a bash thumbnail script but all i know is bash. websites are new to me so im having trouble.
currently i am just using handbrake script to convert all files to mp4. do i need to update the database or will mediacore automatically see it if it has the same filename but different extension?
I have a test file being converted now. it is listed as not encoded on the admin gui. Im hoping that will change once finished.
is there a pre existing script i can modify somewhere. I just need some kind of starting polint.
Where do i need to start to learn how to write a plugin??
