When you enter 2 or more words into the search field the results show any video with any of those words. Would it not be better to only display results that include all of the words?
And, if there are more than 1 page of results the links to the subsequent pages (at the bottom) take you to the page 2 (and so forth) of which every category you happen to be in rather than the next page of results that you searched for.

The search functionality you describe is as designed. It works like most search engines, that way.
If you want to search only for things specifically including a word (or a group of words) prefix the important words with +.
So instead of "word1 word2", search for "+word1 +word2". It's like Google.
The pagination bug you describe is, I think, related to a couple of other pagination issues. One of our developers is currently working to fix them.
