Hi people, I am having a problem integrating MediaCore with an EC2 image of panda. I looked all over the site and did not find any documentation of how to do it. I had successfully installed Panda Plugin, but do not know how to configure it (In fact I do not know what "Cloud Id" and other stuff means), so can someone provide a walkthrough of how to integrate them?
Thanks in advance

Hi Vinicus,
I'll add some more verbose documentation here tomorrow. Thanks for letting us know :)

Hi Jeremy, did you upload the documentation? Thanks

Snap, I totally missed this. I'll double check and get it posted tomorrow.

We've added some info on this to out docs and it should be up in the next couple days, but to immediately address your issue:
Encoding Installation
Pre Requisites: Please make sure you have installed the Encoding plugin and created a cloud on pandastream.com with your Panda Stream account.
1. Create MediaCore Storage Engine
Login into your MediaCore admin panel, and go to Settings > Storage Engines Click Add New engine > Panda Transcoding and Storage. You can also select which encoding profiles you want to include.
2. Panda Storage Engine Fields
Display Name, recommended to leave it as it is.
3. Panda Account Details
Cloud ID
Login to your PandaStream account, and at the dashboard click on your cloud. On the Cloud dashboard, you'll see the name of your cloud and the ID. This ID is what you are after for this field.Access Key / Secret Key
This is your PandaStream API Access Key. Login into PandaStream, and click on API Access.4. Amazon S3 Info
You need an S3 bucket to save your videos to. Enter the name of your Bucket when creating your Panda Stream Encoding Cloud. You can also enter any CloudFront domains you may have as well. After saving this information you can then go back and select what you want.
Hope this clears everything up!

Thanks Jeremy. Just one more question, the plugin only works if I have an account at pandastream.com? Because I am using a panda version running in a Amazon Machine Image ( I have followed this tutorial http://www.pandastream.org/docs/getting_started), and I did not found anything like Cloud ID there. Thanks again!

It appears you're using the older, open source version of Panda Stream. The Encoding Plugin requires you to have a cloud account with pandastream.com
