If you're having trouble trying to workout how to install Mediacore (as I did), you can either contact the guys at SimpleStation (I believe they charge $250) or try something like http://www.elance.com/
I just had this guy install Mediacore on a shared Dreamhost account within a few days: http://www.elance.com/s/afefelov/
