We're trying this the install failed a compile:
_imaging.c:3138: warning: return type defaults to 'int'
_imaging.c: In function 'DL_EXPORT':
_imaging.c:3138: error: expected declaration specifiers before 'init_imaging'
_imaging.c:3149: error: expected '{' at end of input
error: Setup script exited with error: command 'gcc' failed with exit status 1
We running the latest Debian v5, apache2, php 5, etc. Standard LAMP install.
Any advice?
The problem appears to be with compiling PIL, the imaging library for python that we're using. Sometimes its necessary to install a python-dev package for your OS before you can compile it. You could also try installing the python-imaging library for your OS and then trying running MediaCore's "python setup.py develop" again. Hopefully that helps!
