   Hello,

   I created 2 podcasts using 0.9b3 and then migrated to 0.9.0. Now I can't figure out how to make 0.9.0 re-create the XML. My problem is that every Amazon S3 linked mp4 file has been listed in the XML as "local". Of course, the file is non-existent so iTunes, Feedburner can't find the media files:

   <media:content lang="en" medium="video" url="http://removedsogooglewontgocrazy.com/files/61-no-more-parables-for-me-please.mp4" expression="full" duration="2976" type="video/mp4" isDefault="true" />

   That's an example.

   I created a fresh podcast using 0.9.0 and linked one media item to it. It has the same type of links: one S3, one CloudFront (basically, the same S3 file but streamed). The podcast XML does not get updated instantly however. I had to touch mediacore.wsgi to get it to come up. Unfortunately, the same problem occurs in this 0.9.0 generated XML - video files are listed as if they're local even though they do not exist.

   The same links show up in the sitemap XML as well. Wish I knew some python so I can actually help instead of complaining all the time :)

   Hello,

   I was wondering if you had a chance to fix this because I've just performed an upgrade of my 0.9.0 installation to May 12 latest git release (bfcf89d) and the behavior seems to be the same: remote urls are replaced with non-existent local ones.

   Does MC generate that XML on the fly or does it cache it on disk somewhere? I couldn't find anything in the database, nor /path/to/data/tmp.

   aicm: Yes, sitemaps are generated automatically. See mediacore/controllers/sitemaps.py SitemapsController.google().

   Felix,

   Thank you for your reply, however, we were talking about podcast RSS feeds incorrectly listing remote items (stored on S3) as local items (looking for it on the local filesystem but prefixing said file name with 2 random numeric characters. ie: 94-05-07-2011-dr_garnermp4-2.mp4). I'll open a ticket on github as it seems this topic has become stale.
