In short we are using:</p> <ul> <li><a href="http://getmediacore.com">MediaCore</a> of course is being used to power our <a href="http://getmediacore.com/demo">demo</a> </li> <li><a href="http://turbogears.org/">TurboGears</a> for the core of the site. This covers most static pages. </li> <li><a href="http://sphinx.pocoo.org/">Sphinx</a> for the docs in combination with <a href="http://disqus.com/">Disqus</a> for comments.</li> <li><a href="http://wordpress.org">WordPress</a> for the blog</li> <li><a href="http://bbpress.org">BBPress</a> for the community</li> <li><a href="http://mootools.net/">MooTools</a> for a lot of the JavaScript stuff.</li> <li><a href="http://960.gs">960 grid system</a> for all the grids and layouts.</li> </ul> <p>The majority of the design work was done in Photoshop and then hand-coded using VIM or Coda (depending on who was working on it). </p>
