the amount of logging is probably due to your settings in the deployment.ini and/or nginx/uwsgi config.

broken pipe messages are not inherently bad if the status code is 200. Only a status code of 500 indicates a MediaCore error. Otherwise the client just dropped the connection - not nice but absolutely harmless.

Hi everybody,

I´m using the 0.9.1 version in a Centos 5.6 Linux. My deployment.ini is configured using uwsgi & nginx.

I notice that my uwsgi log file is growing too fast ( 10 days use generated more than 3 GB log). Inside it I can see a lot of "write(): Broken pipe [proto/uwsgi.c line 138] during GET [...]" messages. Making some tests I realize that this error is generated when accessing some media from Safari (no matter PC, Mac or iOS). Calling the same files from Firefox does not generate any error.

When the log file grows the webpage performance becomes slower, and few days ago one of my servers went down because the log was so long that took all the hard disk free space.

How can I solve it? Any idea?

Thanks in advance

I think you can do a great job about this, but, if you, and us, who liked mediacore platform invest our knowledge to make it more popular in first plan, than, your job can grown much more...

MediaCore platform is great media tool, but, unfortunately, not so many popular, for this reason, maybe you will produce a great job for a limited number of users

Regards
